Landmark Lawsuit: Saving Democracy and Lives

The First Amendment "rests on the assumption that the widest dissemination of information from diverse and antagonistic sources is essential to the welfare of the public . . .” — Supreme Court Justice Hugo L. Black, 1945 ruling against the Associated Press for violating the Sherman Antitrust Act of 1890.

Dear Friend,

This month, Children’s Health Defense, I, and other plaintiffs sued four major news organizations — members of the “Trusted News Initiative” — alleging they colluded with each other and Big Tech to fortify government orthodoxies, punish dissent, and “choke off” smaller, independent media outlets — like CHD's "The Defender."

Why did these media behemoths target us? Because they viewed us as an “existential threat” to their business models.

We urgently need your help to fund this new antitrust lawsuit and all of CHD’s legal work. Please make a generous donation today.

Our groundbreaking antitrust lawsuit has the power to demolish Big Media’s ability to suppress dissent.

It could restore Americans’ faith in a free press . . . which, as the framers of our Constitution knew, is essential to a functioning democracy.

This lawsuit can also save lives — overwhelming scientific evidence suggests that 650,000 or more Americans died because our government, Big Media, and Big Tech suppressed lifesaving information about COVID treatments.

We can’t let that happen again.

The legal system doesn’t always work — and it rarely works as fast as we’d like.

But when it does work, it has the power to protect our individual and collective freedoms.

Just days after we sued the four legacy media outlets — BBC, Reuters, Associated Press, and The Washington Post — CHD won a major case when the New York Supreme Court struck down the state’s COVID vaccine mandate for healthcare workers.

The New York ruling was a landmark victory, with the potential to influence similar cases throughout the country.

Now, we have our work cut out for us with this new antitrust lawsuit.

This lawsuit will be expensive.

Our deep-pocketed opponents — members of the “Trusted News Initiative” — will pour bucketloads of money into trying to bury us in motion practice.

They will outspend us at every turn.

And even though we have the facts and the law on our side, these powerful media giants will try to convince the court to dismiss our case before we can conduct discovery — including deposing the media big shots who hatched this outlaw conspiracy.

We can’t let that happen . . . not before we’re able to prove in the courts that these legacy media conglomerates conspired to monopolize the media marketplace and abdicated their obligation to act as guardians of our democracy.

Please help CHD expose the illegal acts committed by these media titans — and support the other 50+ lawsuits we’re working on — by making a tax-deductible donation today.

Thank you for supporting this movement and CHD’s work.

In solidarity,

Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.
Chairman and Chief Litigation Counsel, Children’s Health Defense

P.S. The “Trusted News Initiative” is a secret cartel of media giants intent on disseminating government propaganda and stamping out independent media. Please make a tax-deductible donation today to support our new antitrust lawsuit and all of CHD’s legal work. Thank you!
